# Dream Diary AI

> Dream Diary AI is a private AI dream journal that interprets your dreams using Jungian depth psychology. It extracts symbols, emotions, and recurring themes from each entry, builds a searchable dream library over time, and uses semantic memory of past dreams to deepen future interpretations.

Dream Diary AI helps people understand what their sleeping mind is telling them. Users write a dream in plain language, and the app returns a structured interpretation: title, synthesis, symbol glossary, emotional profile, collective-unconscious insights, personal themes, and a message for the waking mind. Interpretations are stored in a private library with deterministic visual cards (gradient art seeded per dream).

Credits ("Dream Points") are purchased via Stripe. New accounts receive free credits to start journaling. All dream data is private to the signed-in user; interpretations run on Google Cloud (Vertex AI Gemini) via Firebase Cloud Functions.
